🚴♂️ FDR UPDATE + FAQ 🚴♂️
With FDR just about a week away, we wanted to answer a few of the questions we’ve been getting.
❓ Do I have to be a father to attend the Father’s Day Ride?
😂 Absolutely not!
In fact, we’d love to see some Ladies out there mixing it up with us too. This ride isn’t just for dads or “the boys”—it’s for anyone who enjoys good people, good miles, and a good challenge.
❓ When will the route maps be available?
We’re putting the finishing touches on them now and should have complete route maps posted by Sunday.
Current estimates:
🔥 Hard Route
• Approximately 45 miles (+/-)
• Approximately 3,500 feet of climbing
💀 Harder Route
• Approximately 55 miles (+/-)
• Approximately 4,500 feet of climbing
Now, before some of you start saying, “That’s not that hard…” remember you’re probably the same person who complains that it’s too windy in Tehachapi, the climbs are too steep, the descents are too fast, the sun is too hot, or your chain was making a funny noise. 😂
Tehachapi is an amazing place to ride, but it can also be demanding. Expect steep climbs, fast descents, heat, and if we’re lucky, a healthy serving of headwinds. In other words, you’ll definitely get your money’s worth.
We’re almost one week out. Start getting your bikes ready, check your equipment, stay hydrated, and get ready for an epic day on the bike.
