The Bakersfield APA teams WPC journey has come to an end. Congrats to each member of these teams for their accomplishments for earning their way and making it to this event.
9-Ball Teams: The New Life Crew - 257th, with Rackless Behavior and The Break Room Legends finishing in 129th
Team Captains: A Sloppy Mess - 257th and Can’t Beat’em Join’em ended their journey in 193rd.
8-Ball Teams: Giggling Gators finished in 257th, with both Streets of Bakersfield and “U” Wish finishing up in 385th.
9-Ball and The Team Captains Finals will be live-streamed so be sure to check out the action.
We wish all those traveling home over the next few days safe travels.

Thursday morning update: 9-Ball is underway - Rackless Behavior and The Break Room Legends will be hitting the table for their next match at 9:00am. The New Life Crew finished their journey in 257th out of 696 teams.

Team Captains (Sloppy Mess and Can’t Beat Em Join Em) will be hitting the tables today at 3:00pm for their first match.

2026 9-Ball World Pool Championships will be kicking off tomorrow Tuesday August 11. Representing Bakersfield APA will be a The Break Room Legends and The New Life Crew up at 9am. Along with Rackless Behavior CA 9 hitting the table at 2pm. Be sure to send them some Bakersfield love!!

As we head into the weekend. The Bakersfield 8-Ball teams journey has come to an end. Giggling Gators finished in 257th, with both Streets of Bakersfield and “U” Wish finishing up in 385th. The 8-Ball Finals will be live streamed Sunday at approx 2pm.
9-Ball and Captains teams will be kicking off their matches next week.

As we head into day 3 - the 8-Ball teams are still in. Streets of Bakersfield will be hitting the table at 9am this morning, with “U” Wish coming up at 2pm and Giggling Gators at 7pm. They are battling their way through the bracket of 833 8-Ball teams coming from the U.S., Canada, Japan and Singapore.

Today officially kicks off the 2026 World Pool Championships! We have three 8-Ball teams, three 9-Ball teams and two Captains Teams making trip over this year! Opening Ceremonies is today at 3:30 with the first round of play kicking off at 4:00pm.
8-Ball teams: U-Wish and Giggling Gators will be up today Tuesday 8/4 at 4:00pm for their first match. Streets of Bakersfield will be hitting the table tonight at 9pm.
9-Ball teams: The New Life Crew and The Break Room Legends first matches are Tuesday 8/11 at 9am, with Rackless Behavior kicking off on Tuesday 8/11 at 2pm
Captains: Both teams - Sloppy Mess and Can’t Beat’em Join’em - will be seeing the table for their first match Thursday 8/13 at 3pm
