Old Record 52.99 ➡️ New Record 52.29! Migo placed 1st at Kern County League Championships!! He went on to place 5th at Central Section Championships!!

Junior Sophia Munoz-Rodriguez breaks her own 100 butterfly record from 2023!!
Old Record 55.65 ➡️ New Record 54.78!! Sophia’s 100Fly race placed 2nd at Central Section Championships earning her a spot to compete at STATE! At State Sophia placed 5th in prelims making the A final. She placed 6th overall in the state of California for her 100 Butterfly!

Senior Jacob Zimmerman breaks his own 50 Free record from last year!
Old Record 21.03 ➡️ New Record 20.77! Jacob’s 50 Free race placed 1st at Kern County League Championships!! Jacob placed 5th at Central Section Championships and earned a spot at STATE! At STATE he placed 14th in prelims making B finals and placed 18th overall in the state of California!

Old Record 2:03.55 ➡️ New Record 2:01.78! Sophia’s 200 IM race placed 1st at Central Section Championships earning her a spot to compete at STATE! At State Sophia placed 6th in prelims making the A final. She placed 9th overall in the state of California for her 200IM!

NEW SCHOOL RECORD 🚨
Liberty’s 2025 Boys 200 Free Relay consisted of Migo Armas (junior), Lucas Cuper (sophomore), Garrett Dillon (senior) and Jacob Zimmerman (senior). This relay took 1st at Kern County League Championships!! These boys broke the record of 3:14.60 from 2008 with a speedy time of 3:11.43! Way to go swimmers!
