This month’s “Dare to Be Aware” Safety Share Topic, courtesy of the ABC Safety Committee, is Updating Workplace First Aid Kits. Please review the attached information.👷

Many thanks to our friends at ASSP for this informational article on Updating Workplace First Aid Kits in accordance with the ANSI standard. The new standard takes effect 10/15/2022. In addition, a link to Cal OSHA’s construction safety orders is included below the article; this will identify what is required in a first aid kit on construction job sites.

We are looking for a dependable, self motivated, detail oriented individual to provide clerical support to our training department. Must have office experience (data entry, filing, heavy phones, and great customer service) as well as knowledge of Word and Excel. Shift hours are Mon/Wed from 3pm-9pm and Tues/Thurs/Fri 8am-2pm and Saturdays (hours may vary). Ideal candidate would be able to work independently and multi task. Some duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsible for student intake procedures
Providing information regarding ABC’s training programs
Preparing instructor materials including printing rosters, sign-in sheets, and tests
Entering attendance and grades in a database
Ensuring testing security and confidentiality while maintaining student files
Performing clerical duties
