Today was about so much more than kicks, punches, and board breaking.
Today was about a journey. ❤️🥋
Years ago, these students stepped onto the mat as beginners. They learned how to tie their belts, bow with respect, and take their first steps in Taekwondo.
Today, they stood before their families and instructors as Black Belt candidates.
The testing included:
🥋 Kicks and punches
💥 Board breaking
🎤 Speeches
📖 Reading letters
❤️ Meaningful moments with family
🥋 Parents tying on their child’s black belt
There were smiles.
There were hugs.
There were tears.
Because earning a Black Belt is not just about martial arts.
It’s about perseverance through challenges.
Showing up when things get difficult.
Growing in confidence, discipline, respect, and character.
A Black Belt is not the end of the journey.
It’s a symbol of the person these students have become along the way.
To our new Black Belts and their families: congratulations.
Thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey. We are honored to celebrate this incredible milestone with you. ❤️🥹🥋

He took on the Tiger Tot testing obstacle course today and showed exactly what perseverance looks like 🥋❤️
After completing the obstacle course, it was time for his board break 💥
The board didn’t break on the first attempt…
But he didn’t give up.
He took a breath, listened to the coaching, and tried again.
💥 SUCCESS! 👏
Testing isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing effort, courage, and the confidence to keep going when something doesn’t work the first time.
We are so proud of him and all of the progress he’s made. ❤️🥹
Great job, Nolan! Keep believing in yourself! 🥋🔥
Testing isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about showing courage, effort, and determination when things get tough ❤️🥋
This Tiger Tot worked her way through the entire obstacle course and then faced her final challenge:
💥 Board breaking
The board didn’t break on the first try.
It didn’t break on the second try either.
But she didn’t quit.
She listened to the coaching, stayed positive, and gave it another try.
On her third attempt…
💥 SUCCESS! 👏🎉
Some of the best moments in testing happen when students learn that they are capable of more than they think.
We are so proud of her perseverance, confidence, and willingness to keep trying. ❤️🥹
That’s what Taekwondo is all about.
Tonight, our White Belts stepped onto the mat for testing! 🥋👏
For many students, this is one of their first opportunities to demonstrate what they’ve been learning in front of instructors, family, and classmates.
Testing included:
👊 Punches and kicking techniques
🛡️ Blocking skills
🥋 Poomsae
💥 Board breaking
🎯 Focus and discipline
🔥 Confidence under pressure
White belt testing is about more than learning techniques.
It’s about building courage, developing confidence, and taking the first steps on a journey that can last for years.
Every black belt was once a white belt who chose to keep showing up, keep learning, and keep growing. ❤️🥋
We’re incredibly proud of all of our students for their hard work and effort tonight. Congratulations, White Belts! 👏🔥
Today was a big day for our Tiger Tots! 🥋🎉
After weeks of practice and preparation, students had the opportunity to demonstrate everything they’ve been learning in class.
Testing included:
🛡️ High, middle, and low blocks
👊 Punches
🦵 Kicks
🤸 Somersaults
🏃 Obstacle courses
💥 Board breaking
Each activity helps students build confidence, focus, coordination, listening skills, and perseverance ❤️
One of the most special moments comes at the end of testing, when Grand Master Bang ties each student’s new belt—a symbol of their hard work, growth, and dedication. 🥹🥋
We’re so proud of every Tiger Tot who stepped onto the mat today and gave their best effort.
Congratulations, Tiger Tots! Keep working hard and believing in yourselves! 👏❤️🥋
This board break had everyone smiling before it even started 😂🥋
As she prepared for her knife hand break, her kihap started out strong…
Then slowly turned into something that sounded a little more like a laugh 😆
Even Grand Master Bang couldn’t help but laugh along ❤️
But when it was time to perform, she locked in, trusted her training, and broke the board on her very first attempt 💥👏
One of the things we love most about Taekwondo is that students can work hard, perform at a high level, and still have fun doing it.
A memorable kihap.
A great laugh.
A successful board break.
That’s a win all around! 🥋🔥
There’s always a moment right before a board break when everything gets quiet.
Students take a breath, focus on the target, and trust the training they’ve put in over weeks and months of practice.
Working with Grand Master Bang, students learn that success comes from preparation, determination, and believing in themselves.
The board is simply the final test.
The real achievement is having the confidence to step forward and give it your best effort. 👏🥋
Awesome job! 💥
Board breaking is one of the most exciting parts of Taekwondo training 🥋💥
But it’s about much more than strength.
Students must learn to:
✔ trust their technique
✔ commit with confidence
✔ stay focused under pressure
✔ push through self-doubt
Students had the opportunity to work with Grand Master Bang and put their training to the test.
Every board break represents hours of practice, perseverance, and believing in yourself when it matters most.
The board doesn’t break because of luck.
It breaks because of preparation. 👏🔥
Great job to everyone who stepped up to the challenge🥋💥
Sophia was asked to demonstrate a somersault for the Tiger Tot class 🥋👏
After showing everyone how it’s done, she took a little victory lap around the mat before getting back in line and doing the activity again with her classmates 😂❤️
While the somersault is a fun skill to practice, the bigger lesson is confidence.
Standing in front of a group, demonstrating a skill, and believing in yourself can be a big step for young children.
Activities like these help students develop:
✔ confidence
✔ leadership skills
✔ body awareness
✔ courage to try new things
✔ pride in their accomplishments
And sometimes… they earn a victory lap too 😎👏
Way to go, Sophia! ❤️🥋
