Bakersfield Finally wins the battle with the Sun.!

The county has approved a Batters Eye that will eliminate the Sun...It will be the largest Batters Eye in the US.

Sam Lynn Ballpark was built in 1940 and has been in a losing battle with the Sun every since... The Ballparks is one of two that face West. This does not allow play from 6:30-7:55 because the sun is directly in the batters eye.

Games can now start at at 6:30 which are more suitable for families and anyone that has a regular life schedule....Previous Games would not start until 8:00-8:15... The Train Robbers can host weekend games...

With Lancaster out of the Pecos League, it is possible that there will be a return of the Wasco Reserve and playing home games in Wasco....Alot has changed since 2019, but it is believed that Wasco can support/host a team again...
