12U Stars wrestling wrestler Cooper Buckley took a big jump in competition this weekend by heading to Fresno and competing at the Kids Freestyle state tournament! Cooper went 2-2 finishing one round away from being a freestyle state placer! We are super proud of you cooper you wrestled your best and was not scared to rise to the occasion! Cooper finishes his freestyle season 28-12!

These girls went out and competed this weekend and representing the STARS banner well! ⭐️🤼‍♀️

They showed a lot of heart, grit, and determination every time they stepped on the mat. They made their team proud, their coaches proud, and most importantly, their families proud. Great job ladies!

Last but not least, 14U girls wrestler Audrey Renshaw comes home with TWO bears! 🐻🐻 Audrey wrestled alongside the School Girls KCWA Team and battled her way to 3rd place in both Greco and Freestyle! 💪

All of this hard work and competition is helping push these young ladies to continue getting better as they prepare for the KCWA Championships this weekend and the upcoming high school season.

Even with an off-week in the schedule, our athletes stayed sharp. We held a special "tournament-style" practice featuring live officiating and a full audience to keep the momentum going. It was a fantastic day of growth and competition!
