Young Eagles day was a few Saturdays ago. Launched in 1992, the Young Eagles program has dedicated 30 years to giving youth ages 8–17 their first free ride in an airplane. Several of our BFC members volunteered their time and airplane to give rides! Merl Ledford, Fred Webster, Courtney Riser and Dave Nance all participated. Thanks to all for sharing your joy of flying to the younger generation!

The BFC flyout to New Cuyama took place May 13th 2023. About 5 airplanes, full of BFC members, arrived about 12pm. Half of the members headed to the Buckhorn restaurant for a delicious lunch and the other half went straight to the outdoor market. They all met up at the outdoor market for a photo. If you have not tried the Buckhorn restaurant, you are in for a treat!
