Any amount of progress, no matter how slow, will lead to great results if sustained for a long period of time and you never go backwards.
There's a common misconception when you start training that you should always be moving forward and you're either getting better or you're getting worse.
This is incorrect. You need to learn how to coast without falling into the trap of all-or-nothing training.
It takes significantly more effort to make new gains you've never had than it does to maintain your current and the mental effort.
The body is far more resilient than most people give it credit for. It's ability to adapt to the demands placed on it is under appreciated.
The mind is more important than the body when it comes to fatigue management. It's a ahead. For most, this strategy will produce the best results long term.
The concept of "2 steps forward, 1 step back" ignores the time component. Once you add in the factor of time, you will see that better results often come from going backwards less.
Warren Buffett has 2 simple rules for investing.
Rule #1: Never lose money.
Rule #2: Never forget rule #1.

Rule #1: Never get worse.
Rule #2: Never forget rule #1.
To not get worse you need to prioritize both your physical and mental health so you have the ability to train and the burning desire required.
By prioritizing not getting worse you end up far better long term.

WHAT IS CROSSFIT GYMNASTICS?
In CrossFit, body-weight movements are considered gymnastics (e.g., air squat, push-up, pull-up, etc.). We are taking skills from the sport of gymnastics and applying them to workouts. In CrossFit, the gymnastics label is applied any exercise in which you move your body through a range of motion (ROM) or extended range of motion (EROM) without an external load. Isometric holds are also considered gymnastics.
CrossFit uses short parallel bars (“parallettes”), the floor, still rings, pull-up bars, dip bars, climbing ropes, and other equipment to implement gymnastics training. -CrossFit

Merry Christmas CrossFit Rig Town
This year has been full of ups and downs, twist and turns. This month we took on the task of moving our gym from its old location where we have been for the last 4 years.
The decision to move was scary but I feel totally worth it for our gym and our members. Our members are more then just people that come to the gym to me they are an extension of family and make all the long hard days worth it.
I am excited to see what this new year holds for us and I am unbelievably great for for the love and support that every single one of y’all have shown.
