Race Recap | All American Speedway
Ended up 7th in qualifying, definitely our strongest qualifying run yet! Only 0.1 off the pole after being around 0.3 off in previous races.
The race started off strong we worked our way up to 5th and held that spot for nearly half the race. Unfortunately, the brakes gave us trouble again, forcing us to drop back and finish P11.
Lots of positives to take from this race. We’ll keep working and come back stronger!
Next up Orange Show Speedway in San Bernadino, CA September 12th!!
Huge Thank you to Derek Thorn Racing, PNW Motorsports, Gandma & Grandad, Keller Race Engines, and EC.Media as well as everyone who continuously supports me it wouldn’t have been possible without you!

Race Recap | Colorado National Speedway
Finished 20th Saturday night at Colorado National Speedway in Round 2 of the SPEARS CARS Tour West Triple Crown.
We had a solid car and were making our way forward before I lost the brakes around lap 20. We came in under the competition yellow on lap 45 and thought we had the issue fixed, but the brakes only lasted a few more laps.
From there, I drove the final 75 laps without brakes. It definitely wasn’t easy, but I stayed patient, focused, and did everything I could to bring the car home.
It wasn’t the result we were hoping for, but we loaded the car back into the trailer in one piece. We’ll make a few changes and come back ready for All American Speedway in Roseville, California.
Huge Thank you to Derek Thorn Racing, PNW Motorsports, Gandma & Grandad, Keller Race Engines, and EC.Media as well as everyone who continuously supports me it wouldn’t have been possible without you!

Congratulations to Landon Gansen on an outstanding 4th-place finish in Formula Mod at the Brickyard!
Landon drove the Hamlin Racing ARC car, powered by Baker Racing, from 7th in the B Main all the way to a 4th-place finish in the A Main. What a drive!
A big shoutout to Chris Gansen for giving Landon a fast, competitive car all weekend.
We're proud to be a part of the journey. Congratulations to the entire team!

The Mark Galloway Shootout was an incredible experience and another big step in my racing journey.
It was awesome to learn a new track, and it meant so much to be back racing in the Pacific Northwest in front of my friends and family. Having so many people supporting my goals and helping me learn made this a weekend I'll never forget.
Unfortunately, the results didn't match the effort.
We started the night with a loose race car, but after a quick adjustment it really came to life. The car was feeling strong, and I was excited to see what we could do. Then, just a few laps later, the right front tire went flat entering Turn 3, and our night ended in the wall coming out of Turn 4.
That's racing.
Now it's time to rebuild, learn from the weekend, and find a way to get to Colorado on August 1st.
I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who made this weekend so special.
Robert Lassiter and Darren Chorney—thank you for stepping in and keeping everyone well fed all weekend.
Cheryl Lassiter and Theresa Chorney—thank you for gathering all of my quarter midget friends to be part of my greeting line during driver introductions. Walking out and seeing so many familiar faces cheering me on made me feel right at home. It was one of the coolest moments of the weekend.
Mom—thank you for making sure Grandma Mary, Grandma Cookie, and Grandpa David were there to see me race. Having all of you there meant more than you know.
Derek, Jake, Jerad, Kelly, and Brandon—thank you for all the hard work you put into the car and for giving me such a fast race car.
Emma Chorney—thank you for always capturing the action and documenting this journey at every race. Those memories are something I'll always treasure.
The weekend didn't end the way we wanted, but we're already looking ahead. We'll get the car repaired, keep working hard, and come back stronger.
See you in Colorado! 🏁

Yesterday I spent the day helping get the quarter midgets ready and working with the next generation of racers. There’s always something to do at the track, and I enjoy every opportunity to give back to the sport that has given so much to our family.
After the work was done, I made a stop at Evergreen Speedway to walk around, take in the atmosphere, and start getting ready for next week's Mark Galloway Shootout. We didn't turn any laps, but it was great to see the track in person and start visualizing what lies ahead.
The day wrapped up watching some great racing and enjoying a reminder of why we all love this sport.
Now it's time to get focused and get ready for next week.
