If you are planning to have an outside trainer, come to RREC to provide you with a lesson, please be aware of an important policy we have in place. Over the past several months, we’ve experienced some issues with outside trainers arriving after the office has closed, and unfortunately, not adhering to our insurance requirements.
All outside trainers are required to provide a certificate of insurance that lists RREC as an additional insured. This policy is not new and is clearly posted on the large 4’x6’ rule sign located at the entrance to the stables. There is no cost to the trainer for obtaining this certificate from their insurance provider.
Unfortunately, we’ve had instances where individuals assured us the documentation would be submitted, but returned to give lessons without ever providing the required paperwork. This often signals that the trainer may not carry insurance at all, which is a significant liability concern.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to maintain a safe and compliant environment for everyone at RREC.

“It’s the control of the feet through the mind that a person [should be] after. If you’ve missed that on the ground, [from] the start, why you’ve missed the part that means the most to the horse. The person should be focused on getting the best possible connection with the horse on the ground - through feel - if they want to have those parts of the horse available to them when they ride."
