Along with summer classes, we’re also excited to introduce several specialty classes this season, including:

These classes are designed to help dancers continue building technique, artistry, strength, flexibility, and performance quality throughout the summer.

And yes… the Gen Z slides were absolutely written by people who spend too much time around teenagers.

From our youngest dancers stepping into their very first fairytale, to those preparing for The Nutcracker, and our intermediate and advanced dancers leveling up their training—our summer intensives and camps are designed to meet each dancer where they are and help them grow.

We are not yet accepting open enrollment for general summer classes. Our current Civic families will receive registration information directly. If you are new to Civic and interested in joining us this summer, we would love to connect—please email [email protected]

The Coven will haunt us again Fall of 2027!

From tiny humans to the people who keep the studio running.
Some of us teach, some of us work behind the scenes, but we’ve all been preparing for this for a while.

On March 3 from 6:15-7:45pm, we’re inviting dads — or any special father figure — to step into their Ballet 6A dancer’s ballet shoes for the night at Pas de Dad. This can be a dad, stepdad, grandfather, uncle, godfather, or any important role model in your dancer’s life.

They’ll take class right alongside their ballerina and gain a whole new appreciation for the strength, discipline, and heart she brings to every step. It’s a meaningful (and fun!) way to share in something that is such a big part of her world.

Participants should wear comfortable clothing they can move in and bring socks. If they’d like to really commit to the experience, ballet shoes are welcome! They can be purchased locally

We can’t wait to see our Level 6A dancers sharing the barre with someone special in their lives. It’s sure to be a night full of laughter, learning, and lasting memories. Please let us know if you plan to participate!

We are excited to announce a special one-day Fairytale Day Camp this February—created especially for young dancers who are curious about dance and can’t wait until summer to try it!

Saturday, February 21
12:30–2:30 PM
Ages 4–6

This magical afternoon is a shortened version of our popular summer Fairytale Camps and is designed as a gentle, joyful introduction to dance. It’s perfect for both currently enrolled dancers and new students who recently discovered us through The Nutcracker or other performances.

While we typically do not accept new registrations until summer open enrollment, we’ve had many families ask for something their child could try right now—and this one-day camp is our answer. If you know someone like that, please spread the word!

Space is limited, and registration will close once the camp fills.

If you have a child who loves stories, music, and movement, we would love to welcome them for an afternoon of fairytale fun! Contact the front desk if you or a dancer you know is interested!
