Well I have finally got around to posting about our March Meet 2026 Event.
This event is a must do such an amazing race at an historic track.
We had a tall order to fill in figuring out how to slow the car to meet the index. But we pulled together as a team and ended up qualifying in the number 10 position out of 21. I am proud of the job well done in getting the car running the 7.60 index
On Saturday we faced off against Bobby Lee in round 1 and ended up with the win light ran 7.616 168 mph and that put us into the Sunday show and elimination rounds.
On Sunday we faced off against a great friend and racer Steve Schoenfield for round 2. I choked on the tree and he won the round he ran RT .029 ET 7.618 MPH 170.48 against my RT .052 ET 7.601 MPH 168.91
I was still very happy with a round win at our first time attending such a prestigious event.
I can’t find the words to describe the feeling of racing at such an historic track and event.
I want to express my sincere gratitude and thanks to the attending crew members Casey Ostler Austin Ostler and Ryan Macklyn they performed flawlessly the entire event and received multiple compliments on their professionalism.
A big thanks to B&J Racing Transmissions,Flatt Out Racing Engines, Macklyn Racing, Nitro Rat Racing for their support. There are so many people past and present that have helped assisted and I am grateful for them all.

March Meet Final Update
Unfortunately Round 2 didn’t go our way yesterday . We lost a super close race to our good friend Steve Schoenfeld.
Even with that, we’re really happy with the week we had at the March Meet. We were able to learn a lot from the runs we made, and with the data and knowledge we gained we’re in a much better place for the next time we come back to Famoso Raceway.
The March Meet has been a bucket list race for Jerry for a long time, so it was great to finally make it out and compete here.
We want to thank all of our friends and family for the support. And a huge shoutout to Ryan Macklyn for making the trip out with us
If you were out at the March Meet this year, let us know it’s always great to see friends at the track.

March Meet Update
We picked up the Round 1 win today and get to come back and play on Sunday. Looking forward to getting back after it tomorrow

March Meet Update
We made a change today hoping to improve our qualifying time, but it didn’t quite get there and we ended up getting bumped down to the #10 spot.
That’s racing. Now the focus shifts to first round of eliminations tomorrow. We’ll be ready

Team Update
While we’re here in Bakersfield qualifying today, another member of the team is back home competing in their school box car race.
The designer and builder of the car, Mallory, absolutely killed it and nailed the driver’s request. The driver is ready to rock and roll today!

March Meet Update
First day of qualifying is in the books. We’re currently sitting #5 out of 21 cars. One more day of qualifying tomorrow and we’ll be looking to improve our time.

March Meet Update
We had a good day of testing yesterday and were able to make two solid runs. Feeling good about the setup as we head into our first qualifying run today
We are en route to the 2026 March Meet at the renowned Famoso dragstrip, marking our inaugural attendance. I would like to extend sincere gratitude to the participating crew members, namely Casey and Austin Ostler, as well as Ryan Macklyn, for their involvement in this event. Additionally, I wish to express appreciation to Mallory and Madi for their support of their spouses' attendance, acknowledging the considerable sacrifice this entails. I also appreciate the unwavering support of my wife. Furthermore, I would like to thank Ryan for his backing and participation. Lastly, I extend my gratitude to all individuals who have provided assistance and support throughout this process.
