THIS WEEK: Join Deb Sindone for her two 2026 fitness classes: EmpowerFit Women’s Strength Training and Sunrise Yoga! Deb has run classes at Lysander Park for a few years now, and we’re so happy to have her back!
Not sure if you’ll like the classes? The first one is FREE!
EmpowerFit will be Wednesdays, June 3rd through September 30th, from 5:30 to 6:15 pm.
Sunrise Yoga will be Saturdays, June 6th through September 26th, from 8:00 to 9:00 am.

At the Town of Lysander, we’re proud to participate in Baldwinsville’s Annual Memorial Day Parade. It’s an important tradition to honor and remember all the Veterans who have served to keep our country safe. 🇺🇸
We were so happy to have one of our program partners, , and some of our Bee Fast Track and Field athletes march with us! 🐝🏃♂️🏅

Are you looking for a fun summer activity to do with your family? Join us for our first ever Recreation Challenge!
How does it work? Download or pick up one of our Recreation Challenge booklets, complete at least 12 of the challenges, fill out your personal information on the back of the booklet, and then turn it in to win a T-shirt! This program is free. Below are some examples of the challenges:
1. Have a picnic at the park
2. Splash around at the splash pad
3. Ask a park employee about free equipment rentals
4. Splash in some puddles on a rainy day
The prize T-shirt will be designed by Baldwinsville Central School District students and will be released later on in the year. For now, it’s a mystery!
The challenge will take place between April 1st and October 31st. Your booklet must be turned in to Lysander Parks and Recreation by October 31st in order for you to be eligible for the prize.

THANK YOU to everyone who came out for the return of our Junk In Your Trunk Sale! Even though the day was cloudy and a little cold, the event was a success! 🛍️🚘⛅️

We want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who came out for our Mental Health Awareness Window Paint-a-thon! 🧠☀️🌷🐝
We had around 80 families come out to paint, and a few businesses as well! We couldn’t do this event without the support of all of the local businesses that allow us to paint their windows. We are grateful for everyone involved!
If you’re interested in window painting again soon, we’ll be doing our annual Halloween Window Painting again in October. We hope to see you there!
