I train athletes to perform under pressure. Nervous system. Strength. Competition prep. Coaching available šŸ‘‡ No extremes.

Hi, I’m Brandie — Masters athlete (2017), Coach, Nutrition coach, and Neurofeedback Technician. I believe real progress is built through the unglamorous, consistent work most people skip. This space is for athletes who want to get stronger, improve conditioning, and fuel their bodies in a way that supports both training and real life — not burnout. Here you’ll find practical training insights, sma

rt conditioning strategies, and honest coaching perspective that connects how you move, how you eat, and how your brain and nervous system handle stress and recovery. Because performance isn’t about grinding harder; it’s about training smarter and staying in the game longer. No shortcuts. Just intentional work that compounds over time.

The top of the hill isn’t the finish line. Keep moving. 2-mile warm-up. 4-mile hills. 1-mile cool-downšŸƒšŸ‘Ÿ

🧠Your nervous system will always look for the exit before something heavy. That’s not weakness. That’s protection.

Most cross country programs only run.

We did broad jumps yesterday.

The nervous system needs more than repetitive stride patterns to perform on race day. It needs to learn how to load, explode, and absorb force — or it will always hit a ceiling.

This is why we train movement, not just mileage.

That is not a fuel plan.

You still have to get through the practice, workout, race, or competition first. If you arrive with no fuel, a huge meal later does not change how you felt or performed during the work.

Keep it simple: eat something before, recover after, and do not try to make up for everything at night.

Fuel around the work—not just after it.

PR today. First one in 2 years.
I’m not going to pretend I wasn’t emotional in that moment. I was.

Because it’s not just about the weight. It’s about what it took to get back here. The sessions that felt like nothing was working. The days I questioned whether I was still evolving as an athlete and as a coach.

Today answered that question.

I’m still learning. Still growing. Still figuring it out — and apparently still hitting PRs while I do it.

Thank you to my family, my friends, and everyone here who has shown up for this journey. It matters more than you know.

This one’s for all of us.

Signal -> Decision -> Outcome

When did you last surprise yourself?

Meet next week? Don’t wing your fuel.

Competition day is not the time to try a new breakfast, new energy drink, supplement, or ā€œperfectā€ plan.

Use this week to practice. Choose familiar foods that sit well, include carbohydrates for training energy, and stay on top of fluids.

The goal is simple: when Saturday comes, you should know what works for you.

Practice your fuel plan before you need it.
