Win or learn! We had a few wins & lots of learning at our 1st Fizz Bomb experience! Definitely going back & will be better prepared!
I am so grateful to our good friend and Bodyworker Jenn Evans for helping me with Spice! Also Double X Veterinary Services Dr. Don Lee. Don checked her out after our warm up run and said her pelvis was rotatedโฆamong other issues. So Jenn worked on her for me before the 1st go of the futurity. Asked to see her again after my runโฆwhile she noticed some things after my run & suggested a BAL. Double X had left for the breeders challenge. Thankfully another vet was on sight. So we did the BAL & are waiting on results. Spice has never bled out but has definitely not ran like she did when I got home this spring. She clocked a 14.4 her 1st run at Double H Arena, Mondovi Wisconsin this spring. This summer, we were stuck 14.9-15.2โs at all the pens back home (Hinckley, Winona, Mondovi).
I know sheโs capable of so much more & am very anxiously awaiting the results! She ran a 16.3 in the warm up race & 16.1 in the 1st go at the Fizz Bomb. Scratched 2nd go.
My win with Spice was having my amazing friend Jenn in our corner & helping get to the bottom of this. ๐
Also, Spice has been a pig in her stall. When I visited Masha Seker & Goose at Winona, she mentioned training him too keep a clean stall. How have I not been doing that??? Spice got it down pretty good by day 3 ๐๐
Ideally I want to have wins in the arena, but Iโll take these!
