Happy Easter from the Lady Panthers
Today, we celebrate more than a holiday we honor the true meaning of Easter: faith, sacrifice, and the power of resurrection. Because of His love, we are reminded that there is always purpose in the process and victory after every challenge.
As a team, we stand on those same values resilience, belief, and rising stronger together.
Wishing our Panther family and community a blessed Easter filled with peace, joy, and renewed strength. He is Risen.

Today, we honor a legend.
After more than 35 years of unwavering dedication, Coach Jerome Shelton officially retires from coaching St. Frances Academy Girls' Basketball; leaving behind a legacy that will live on forever.
Coach Shelton didn’t just build a program, he built a powerhouse from the ground up. With over 700 career wins and 16 IAAM championships, his impact on St. Frances Academy Girls’ Basketball is unmatched. But beyond the banners and trophies, his true legacy is found in the lives he’s shaped, the lessons he’s taught, and the standard he’s set.
A man of class, commitment, and purpose, Coach Shelton has been more than a coach. As a longtime history teacher, his words, wisdom, and unique way of teaching the game have left lasting impressions both on and off the court.
He created a home for generations of young women; instilling confidence, discipline, and pride in every scholar-athlete who wore the jersey.
Coach, thank you for your heart, your leadership, and your vision. Thank you for turning St. Frances into a national name. Thank you for pouring into us year after year.
Your legacy will never retire.
Once a Panther, always a Panther. 🖤💛
