Through the FY2025 Grant Program alone, MSC helped fuel Maryland’s economy — supporting 37,115 jobs and generating $277.3M in business sales.

And here’s the incredible part: this represents just a quarter of MSC’s annual impact across the state.

Sports tourism matters. And in Maryland, it delivers.

Maryland Sports Commission, and our parent agency Maryland Stadium Authority, are again proud to partner with Get in the Game for their 2025 conference in Baltimore, Maryland. November 7th through 9th, students from HBCUs - as well as Students of Color from PWIs - had the opportunity to learn about careers and internships in the Sports business.

Executive Director Terry Hasseltine took part in a panel discussion on the business of sports tourism along with Kireem Swinton of Visit Baltimore and Rasheeda Martin of Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County - moderated by Dr. Ashley Gardner from Temple University.

It was our incredible honor to host the conference’s Saturday evening banquet inside The Warehouse at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. A big thanks to Chris Riehl of Baltimore Rent-A-Tour for a fun night of trivia networking.
