As part of Preakness Festival 150, the Government House Reception welcomed leaders, partners, and community members to the Maryland Governor’s Residence for an evening of celebration and connection. Guests gathered in honor of the traditions, partnerships, and shared spirit that make Preakness Festival and Preakness Stakes such a meaningful part of Maryland’s cultural landscape.

The 4th Annual George “Spider” Anderson Music and Arts Festival brought the Park Heights community together for an afternoon of music, horseback riding, games, and local art. The event honored the legacy of George “Spider” Anderson, the first African-American jockey to win the Preakness Stakes.

Last weekend, as part of Preakness Festival 150, Mother’s Day at the Races welcomed guests to Pimlico Race Course for an afternoon of live thoroughbred racing and full-service brunch. Families and friends came together to celebrate the occasion in a one-of-a-kind setting filled with tradition and charm!

What a night on the waterfront! Club Quarantine 5 Live lit up Pier Six Pavilion with an unforgettable lineup led by DJ Derrick D-Nice Jones, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra alongside Conductor Igmar Thomas, and an all-star roster including:
Ari Lennox, Jadakiss, Deborah Cox, Chante Moore, Too $hort, Lil’ Mo, Raheem DeVaughn, Cordae, 803Fresh, DJ Quicksilva, DJ Class, 2 Hyped Brothers & A Dog, Frank Ski, Michael Phillips, Fred Yonnet, Father MC, and Kenny Burns.
