Family farm focused on horses, adults and youth, and fun on trails and in the arena. Grouse Hill Farm LLC is a family owned farm.

We support horses, horse sports, and youth. We have a small youth horse lease/ lesson program that focuses on not only riding but also horse care. We also have a few boarders on our farm that are "older" kids. Many of our horses were rescues that found a stable life on our farm. We are supporters of the Sauk County 4-H Horse Program, and the American Standardbred Adoption Program.

It was gelding day for Le Roy today. While he was under we had his sharp wolf teeth pulled too. All went well, normal procedure. Poor little guy, sore mouth and a sore bottom.

I just measured my newest buddy Le Roy: 13.1 HH. Per growth charts he should mature to around 14 HH.
Almost done with QT! So far he is handling well, and he trots off nice and sound in the round pen. This next Wed is gelding day, I hope all goes well.

This handsome and very nice mannered / quiet fellow, Le Roy Brown, is a new acquisition this fall. What a nice guy. He was sold in a South Dakota Auction Oct 5, and I picked him up at a Wisconsin sale 3 weeks later.
