Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this. It is with great sadness to announce that after three amazing and unforgettable years in downtown Baraboo,
608 Axe Throwing - Baraboo officially closed on Saturday, August 31 at 11 PM.

We wanted to take a moment to thank all of our valued customers and league members for their continued support over these last three years. We were able to bring the sport of axe and knife throwing to thousands of people over that time.

We were able to create a fun and safe environment for families, coworkers, and friends to get together and enjoy the sport of axe throwing. We’ve hosted customers from around the block and all the way from Paris, France.

One of our biggest accomplishments has always been the countless throwers we were able to send to the knife and axe throwing world championships. Those throwers’ hard work and dedication was the fuel that kept us going.

We also want to thank the amazing community of Baraboo, Wisconsin for accepting us and supporting us over the last 3 years. It has been our pleasure to be involved in the many community events, to help sponsor, and donate to community fundraisers throughout the years.

Special thank you to all of our knife and axe league members who visited us week in and week out. Not only are we better throwers for it, but we are better people for getting to know all of you at a personal level. We can honestly call you our friends, and can truly say without you we never would’ve made it this far. We owe our past success to you.

WHATS NEXT YOU ASK?

Well, we are glad you asked. 608 Axe Throwing remains open in Oshkosh and Green Bay Wisconsin, and we wish them all the best.

We are excited to announce the opening of Baraboo Axe Lounge! We will be at the same location; 713 Broadway Street in downtown Baraboo.

Baraboo Axe Lounge will be owned and operated by a familiar face. Many of you know and have been coached by Brian, formerly of 608 Axe Throwing. Brian, with the help of partners and staff, will be taking over this location.

Baraboo Axe Lounge will strive to continue to provide the amazing throwing experience that you’ve come to expect, all while helping grow the sport of knife and axe throwing in Baraboo and the surrounding areas. We also want to continue to help grow and support our community and local organizations through the sport.

We are so excited to get started on this new chapter and hope to have our doors open by mid-September, and fully intend to be open and ready for season 4 of our WATL and WKTL seasons. We also have plans for new and exciting additions to our current location.

It’s sad but true. The night market event with our friends at Balanced Rock Winery has officially been canceled due to the upcoming weather.

It’s an honor and pleasure to announce that after two seasons of hard played ball, our very own 608 axe throwing 608 Softball?? team won their first game last night! 7-5

This team has improved so much this season and has been so close to the W the past few weeks.

We couldn’t appreciate their efforts week in and week out, and thank them all so much for repping the 608 proudly.
