Heading to the pool today to beat the heat? Supervision is key for a safe pool day. Keep these safety tips in mind:
· Keep young children within arm’s reach.
· Have a designated adult be responsible for watching kids in the water.
· Get all of the kids to choose a swimming partner, even the older kids.

This morning marked the last home meet of the year for the Baraboo Riptide as they prepare to taper up for the Tri-County Conference Meet.
Not only has the Baraboo Outdoor Pool enjoyed hosting them during meets, but they have also shown great support for each kid on the team by cheering them on and making sure they enjoy the meets. We also hope this week goes well and wish you luck at the Tri-County Conference Meet on Saturday! Here’s a glance at one of their home meets.

Yesterday, we kicked off our first Pack the Pool event of the summer. We were thrilled to have 353 people attend this event. However, we hope to surpass this number on the upcoming dates, August 1st and 22nd. We also want to give a shout-out to Friends of Baraboo Parks; thanks to them, we were able to host this type of event for the community.
