Lifeguards Are Not Babysitters!

Lifeguards are trained to respond in emergencies—but they should never be your child’s only line of defense at the pool.

Drowning can happen in seconds, and even the most attentive lifeguard can’t watch every child every second—especially in crowded or chaotic environments.

Parents and caregivers must stay within arm’s reach of young or inexperienced swimmers at all times. Active supervision saves lives.

Let’s work together to keep our kids safe.

Remember this: If it's play time in the water for them, it's work time for you. If you want to relax in or around the water, designate a day when you can go without them. If they are there, you are on the clock and watching at all times.

Lifeguards — we still need them! If you are looking for a fun summer job, a second job, or know someone who would be a great fit, we are still hiring for the pool season.

No maximum age limit to apply. High school/college students, retirees, stay-at-home parents, teachers, and anyone looking for summer employment are encouraged to apply.

Last year at Campbell Park Outdoor Pool, we held our first Pack the Pool event. This year, we’re going even bigger with THREE Pack the Pool dates!

To make it happen, we’re looking for sponsors to help us offer FREE admission for everyone on those days. It’s a great way to support the community and be part of a fun, high-energy event.

Before season passes for Campbell Park Pool go on sale Monday, we wanted to share an important update.

The wading pool will not be opening this year. Unfortunately, the amount of maintenance and repairs needed has made it unfeasible to operate safely for the season.

We understand this may be disappointing, and we truly appreciate your understanding as we focus on maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors at the main pool.

Season passes will still be available starting Monday, and we look forward to a great summer at Campbell Park Pool.
