⚽🔐 BARNEGAT SOCCER CLUB REFEREE TRAINING — WITH A TWIST! 🔐⚽
Today we trained our Barnegat Soccer referees for the Fall 2026 season but we decided to do things a little differently this year!
We added some fun competitions of Win, Lose or Draw, Dress the Ref, a Soccer Signals Telephone Game, and Soccer Trivia, and then it was time for the main event…
🔒⚽ THE BARNEGAT SOCCER ESCAPE ROOM (FIELD)! ⚽🔒
Instead of just sitting through the usual training, we put our referees to the test with a Soccer Escape Room right on the field! 🧩⚽
Our referees had to work together, solve clues, crack codes, think like an official, and use their soccer knowledge to escape! 🕵️♂️🕵️♀️
And they DID IT! 🔥 BOTH TEAMS ESCAPED WITH less than 15 MINUTES TO SPARE! ⏰⚽🙌
It was a great way to sharpen their skills, encourage teamwork, and most importantly have some fun while preparing for the season ahead!
Because being a great referee takes more than knowing the rules… sometimes you have to make quick decisions!
