Does anyone know the difference between the 2 examples below? The example with the most plates was used by older athlete while the example with the fewer plates was used by a younger athlete. Does anyone know how much weight a specific aged athlete should lift? Of course not because ALL athletes are not the same. I hear all the time from critics about how the younger generation athkete should not lift until they are fully grown. What age is that exactly as girls and boys both have different ages before they are fully grown, and also to mention that people of the same s*x bodies mature faster than others because we are all different. The amount of weight is not what defines how much weight you should be doing, but proper form doing the weight does. Is flat bench beneficial for baseball players? Answer is no. Is close grip bench beneficial for baseball players? Answer is yes. What’s the difference? Movement posted is concentrated solely on the elbow and tricep by keeeping elbows as close to the body as possible. Pausing 7 sets of 3 reps to concentrate more on form and lock in the connection to the tricep and not the chest or shoulder. Great off season exercise for baseball players looking to add some density to the triceps, along with strengthening the elbows, to help protect those nagging injuries that could lead to surgery.
