BXST has merged with Memphis Thunder Aquatic Club!
We currently run practices at St. George's Independent School (1880 Wolf River Blvd. Collierville) and the Bartlett Y (7700 Flaherty Place Bartlett).

Schedule Update (due to home football games):
ALL groups/swimmers will practice from 4:00 to 5:00p on Friday, August 29 and Thursday, September 4. We understand that we'll have late arrivals and apologize for the inconvenience.
NO PRACTICE for any group on Labor Day, Sept. 1.

Don't forget that the Stroke Clinic begins on Monday, August 25!
High School: 4:00 to 5:30p
11-14: 4:30 to 5:30p
10 & Under: 5:30 to 6:30p
$150 for the 3-week session (no fee for MTAC swimmer)

We (finally) have a start date!
We will have a fun, full team practice (we will be in the water) for existing MTAC swimmers on Friday, August, 22, from 4:30 to 6:00p. Treats will be provided! Open to existing MTAC/BXST swimmers only.
We will begin an abbreviated (3-week) Stroke Clinic on Monday, August 25. Fee (for new swimmers) is now $150.

NO PRACTICE for any group until the Stroke Clinic begins on Aug. 18! More details/instructions will be sent out over the next couple of weeks as we process the merger.

Another great day of swimming by Kaia Robinson at Futures in Ocala! She finished in 13th place (out of 85 swimmers!) in the 50 Back! One more day/event tomorrow. Wish her luck!

Congrats to Kaia Robinson for finishing in 21st place (5th place in C final) and re-claiming her team record in the 50 Fly, 28.66, at Futures in Ocala. She's swimming against the best swimmers from Michigan to Florida and holding her own!

The pool will open on time this morning (Tuesday, July 22). We will have regularly scheduled practices for all groups.

Tentatively, Senior and Black Group practice for Tuesday morning (7:00 to 8:30a) is still on. I will relay confirmation in the morning as soon as I hear from Y management.

NO PRACTICE for any group on Mon., July 21, due to facility closure/maintenance issues.

We're halfway through 2025 Long Course Southeastern Championships and have seen some great swims so far! Some of the highlights:
Sahara Purifoy is the Southeastern Champion in the 10 & Under girls' 50 Backstroke with a new team record time!
Jenna Halliday set/lowered two team records in the 15 & Over girls 50 Fly (finishing 3rd overall) and 100 Back (finishing 2nd)!
Andrew Linares lowered his team record in the 11/12 boys' 50 Back (finishing 6th overall) and broke the 100 Fly record in prelims this morning. He also placed 4th overall in the 200 Free!
Carson Hurd broke the 15 & Over boys' 50 Free record in prelims this morning.
