🔥 COACH’S CORNER: COACH TREVIN PRUITT 🔥
Some people coach the game. Others change lives through it. Coach Trevin Pruitt does both. ⚾️
With 9+ years of coaching experience, Trevin serves as the Legends Director of Operations, owner of Trevin Pruitt Training, and, as of the 2026 season, Junior Varsity Head Baseball Coach at Bartow High School. He is a much loved and respected figure in our baseball community, with an impact that reaches far beyond the field.
Trevin’s playing career speaks for itself:
🏆 Member of Southeastern University’s 2018 NAIA National Championship team
⚾️ Captain at George Jenkins High School (2015–2016)
🏆 2015–2016 District 8A Champions at George Jenkins
⭐ Honorable Mention, Polk County Player of the Year (2016)
⭐ Perfect Game Honorable Mention among the nation’s top shortstops in the Class of 2016
⭐️ 2015 Prospect Wire All American
Living with cystic fibrosis, Trevin defied expectations by successfully playing college baseball and is believed by medical professionals to be one of the only players with CF to reach such an accomplishment - a powerful testament to his perseverance, resilience, and refusal to let circumstances define his future.
That same mindset drives him as a coach. Trevin believes in PURPOSE OVER POPULARITY. He sees potential when others don’t, pushes athletes beyond their comfort zones, and refuses to let players settle for less than what they’re capable of becoming.
And perhaps one of the most meaningful parts of his legacy is seeing it continue through his daughter, who now proudly wears #3, just like her dad. ❤️ Because some legacies go beyond the game - they’re passed down through family, passion, and the love of baseball.
Perseverance built the player. Purpose drives the coach.
