We excited to announce that Coach Puderbaugh was selected to coach on this year’s Team Kansas Fargo Nationals team.

This opportunity for Coach Puderbaugh’s shows his dedication and leadership to continuing to develop wrestlers on and off the mat. We can’t wait to see the impact you will make on Team Kansas on the National stage later in July! 💚💛

Great week for our Bobcat wrestlers at Wyoming team camp!

Bobcat 1 finished the dual portion of camp with a perfect 10-0 record and earned TEAM CHAMPIONS honors! 🏆

Bobcat 2 battled hard all week, competing in several close duals and holding their own in the B Pool. Proud of the effort, toughness, and growth shown by both teams!

Tomorrow is the last day for camp where the guys will compete in 16 man brackets for individual titles, then we head to camp in the Colorado mountains and hike the manitou incline!!

Day 2 - Wyoming Team Camp Update…

The Basehor-Linwood wrestling team is representing our community and Kansas very well at the University of Wyoming Team Camp, going 8-0 in dual competition so far!

What makes this even more impressive is that our team is made up entirely ALL BLHS wrestlers. We’ve competed against teams made up of multiple schools, all-star teams, and programs from Utah, Wyoming, Oklahoma, Colorado, and beyond.
We have one more dual tonight. A win sends us to the championship match!💪🏼

Our #2 team is holding its own as well and competing hard every time they step on the mat.

More importantly, this group is made up of not only talented wrestlers, but outstanding young men. We are incredibly fortunate to have these athletes representing Basehor-Linwood. Proud of this team and excited to see what they accomplish next and thankful to live in a community/USD that allows these opportunities for these young men!

Day 2 underway at Wyoming Team Camp…Get’in better💪🏼

The alarm clock came early Sunday morning - 1:45 AM early! Our wrestling team loaded up and made the long trek to Laramie for this year’s team camp at the University of Wyoming.

We brought 26 young men who are eager to learn, compete, and continue building our program. While we would have loved to have our entire team with us, we’re grateful for the opportunity to be here and thankful that everyone arrived safely.

Now it’s time to get to work, improve, and make the most of the next few days.

🔥 SUMMER SCUFFLE DUAL TOURNAMENT RECAP 🔥

The Bobcat Wrestling Club took two teams to the annual Summer Scuffle Dual Tournament at Gardner-Edgerton High School this weekend, and our wrestlers brought the HEAT!

🐾 Bobcats Black put together an outstanding performance, finishing with a 7-2 dual record and earning:
🥉 3rd Place in the Cornhusker Pool
🥇 1st Place in the Bronze Pool

The Black Team picked up impressive dual wins over Team Samurai, BVNW Huskies, P-Town Wrestling, Broncos-The Glue Factory, Trailblazers, SEK Elite, and Missouri Top Team. Their only losses came in two nail-biters against eventual pool champions SWMO Stingers (47-40) and runner-up Missouri Outlaws (41-40).

Several Bobcats turned in dominant individual performances:

🐾 Bobcat Gold battled through a very competitive field and finished with a 3-6 dual record, placing:
🏅 5th Place in the Hawkeye Pool
🥉 3rd Place in the 17th-20th Place Pool (finished 19th overall)

The Gold Team earned victories over Southside Falcons, Shawnee Mission Sigmas, and Ray-Pec Wrestling Club. The team showed grit, resilience, and continued improvement throughout the weekend.
