Big hits, great defense, and a whole lot of heart! 🥎💚 Our Ridge 8U girls won two of three games today, capped by a thrilling comeback from down 10–4 to win 12–11 in their final game!

These girls never gave up, hustled on and off the field, and cheered each other on all day. So proud of their effort, teamwork, and the big smiles along the way. What a day! Great job girls, you should be so proud! Go Ridge! 💪🏻😁

Our 10U Red Devils were honored to participate in the Fig Frenzy last weekend, a special tournament held in memory of Steve Figurelli, who passed away far too soon but left a lasting impact on youth sports throughout the Roxbury community.

We’re grateful to have been a small part of an event that continues to celebrate his legacy and the positive influence he had on so many young athletes and families.

A special shoutout to Lilly Eskuchen, who was voted by her teammates as our Red Devils Fig Award winner! 👹🥎🏆

Congratulations, Lilly! Well deserved!

🥎 Calling all future softball stars! 💚

We absolutely love seeing young people in our community finding ways to give back to the game.

Local students and Girl Scout Cadets Mary Weibel and Emily Steel are working toward their Silver Award, and they’ve chosen a pretty awesome mission for their community service project: getting more young girls in Basking Ridge excited about softball!

Mary and Emily are hosting TWO FREE clinics for girls entering Kindergarten and 1st Grade. No experience is necessary, and if your daughter doesn’t have equipment yet, that’s completely fine too.

The girls will get a chance to hit, field, learn some game-day cheers, play games and, most importantly, HAVE FUN on a softball field. 🥎

📅 August 31 & September 2
⏰ 6:00–8:00 PM
📍 Mountain Park, Field 5
👧 Rising Kindergarten & 1st Grade

This is exactly how you grow the game: start them young, make it fun, and give them a chance to fall in love with softball. 🙌

Please help Mary and Emily make their Silver Award project a huge success by sharing this post with any Basking Ridge families who have a future softball player at home!
