🥎 Calling all future softball stars! 💚

We absolutely love seeing young people in our community finding ways to give back to the game.

Local students and Girl Scout Cadets Mary Weibel and Emily Steel are working toward their Silver Award, and they’ve chosen a pretty awesome mission for their community service project: getting more young girls in Basking Ridge excited about softball!

Mary and Emily are hosting TWO FREE clinics for girls entering Kindergarten and 1st Grade. No experience is necessary, and if your daughter doesn’t have equipment yet, that’s completely fine too.

The girls will get a chance to hit, field, learn some game-day cheers, play games and, most importantly, HAVE FUN on a softball field. 🥎

Our 8U White team capped off a great season last weekend with a spirited effort at their first ever tournament - the Main Street Meltdown in Bridgewater! 🥎

The learning and growth accelerated for these girls and the smiles were endless! 😎

Congrats on a wonderful season girls! 💪🏻 So fun watching you all play! 🙌🏻

💍🏆 CHAMPIONS! RIDGE 12U TAKES HOME THE HARDWARE! 🏆💍

What an incredible finish to an unforgettable season! Ridge 12U brought their signature grit, discipline, and energy to the Championship Game on Monday night, defeating Chatham Sparks 11-5 to take home the title and the championship rings! 💥✨

Patience & Discipline: The girls showed ultimate discipline at the plate, drawing a massive 20 walks—led by Greta M. with 4—to keep the pressure on all night long! 👁️⚾

Clutch RBI Production: Grace V. and Noelle G. came through when it mattered most, driving in 2 runs each, while Sadie G. sparked a huge 4-run 5th inning with a clutch single up the middle! 💪

Ace Performance: Greta M. went the distance in the circle, pitching all 7 innings with 7 strikeouts to secure the championship victory! ⚡

Speed on the Base Paths: Unstoppable on the bases with 11 stolen bases, led by multi-steal games from Emilia P., Grace V., and Maahi S.! 🏃‍♀️💨

Defense Wins Championships: Anchored by a smooth double play, the defense held tough to close it out! 🛡️

So proud of this team's heart, mental toughness, and determination all season long. Put a ring on it, ladies—you earned it! 💍👑💚

🍦 ICE CREAM TASTES BETTER AFTER A COMEBACK WIN! WE’RE HEADED TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP! 🏆🥎

Talk about heart, hustle, and incredible mental toughness! Trailing 4-2 heading into the top of the 7th, Ridge 12U proved they NEVER give up. With unmatched grit, the team flipped the game on its head with a MASSIVE 8-run surge to defeat Watchung Hills Warriors 10-7 and punch their ticket to the Championship Game! 🎟️🔥

Unstoppable 7th-Inning Rally included a clutch 2-RBI single from Maahi S. after a tough 6-pitch at-bat! 💥

Ice in Her Veins: Greta M. showed true grit in the circle, going all 7 innings and racking up a phenomenal 14 strikeouts! ⚡

Relentless Energy: The team kept the pressure on all game with 10 stolen bases! 🏃‍♀️💨

This team’s mental toughness and refuse-to-lose attitude earned them this sweet celebration! 🍦✨

🔥 BIG WIN & SEMIFINAL BOUND! 🥎🔥

Nothing hits sweeter than a 12-2 victory followed by s'mores by the fire! 🪵🍫✨

Ridge 12U brought the heat yesterday with a dominant performance over MSO Villagers!

Greta M. commanded the circle with 11 strikeouts over 5 innings while driving in 2 runs!

Madelyn H. stayed hot, going 3-for-3 at the plate! 💥

Hot bats & fast feet: 16 total hits and 14 stolen bases across the board! 💨

Great defense in the field! 🛡️

TONIGHT IS THE BIG ONE! 🚨
The girls are headin' into the Semifinals tonight vs. Watchung Hills Warriors! Come out at 6pm to 99 Poplar Drive, Stirling, NJ, wear your green, and bring the noise to support Ridge 12U as they fight for a spot in the finals! 📣💚

Ridge 10U white definitely brought the holiday vibes to the Hamilton Christmas in July tournament this past weekend. Nice job by both the players and coaches.

Ridge 10U White had a blast this past weekend at the Totowa Color Wars tournament. Such a fun weekend and a super well run tourney. We will be back next year.

What a WALK OFF win for our Ridge 8U girls tonight over the Metuchen Bulldogs, 13-12 🥎💚!

We continue to show that we belong in the Parkway Gold Division, and I couldn’t be more proud of this group. Our focus is on growth and improvement every game, and while tonight wasn’t our sharpest performance, the girls never quit. Their grit and determination were on full display.

This is one of the closest teams I’ve ever coached, and it’s been incredible watching them support and encourage each other every step of the way.

Keep working. Keep having fun. Keep believing in each other.

What a win for our 10U Red Devils! Despite being down most of the game these girls never gave up. They scored 4 runs in the 6th to send the game to extra innings and with two outs Grace Campigotto came up clutch with the game winning hit.

Amazing pitching performance from Lily Song who went all 7 innings with 14 strikeouts and ZERO walks!!

Way to go girls!

What a win for our Ridge 8U girls tonight over Cranford!

This team has shown incredible grit, resilience, and determination all season long while competing in the highly competitive Parkway Gold Division. Every game has helped them grow, and the improvement we’ve seen in their confidence, defense, hitting, and overall teamwork has been tremendous.

Most importantly, these girls have had a blast. They have built great friendships, truly bonded as a team, and continue to support each other every step of the way.

Proud of the fight they showed tonight and even prouder of the growth they’ve shown all season. Keep working, keep having fun, and keep believing in each other. Ridge Strong! 🥎💚
