Happy Belt Test Day to our students. We promoted our newest white belts and our intermediate level belts today.

Today is extra special day for our Dojang. 46 years ago on this day (September 12th, 1980) Grandmaster Ji Ho Choi founded the first school in West New York, NJ. Over the 46 yrs our school has produced over 15,000 black belts.

We are very proud of our students today and excited to see their journey to black belt as well.

White Belt Appreciation Post!!

We are so proud of our white belts completing their first ever belt test today. For any of us who have been practicing for a long time, we might not remember how intimidating that first test was but these students handled the pressure like pros!

Scroll through to see all the skills they’ve learned thus far and give them some love in our comments 💕✨

A night at the museum with Grand Master Choi and Ma’am Kelley!

We are honored to have had the chance to teach a women’s self-defense class at The Met Museum this week. We practiced ways to get out of grabs and get to safety! Thank you to the staff at The Met for a great session - we hope to be back soon :)

ps. we loved getting to take in the serene spaces of the museum and snap some fun pictures ➡️
