Just thought I'd reshare.

It's that time!

T'was the night before the Buckle Series and all around the grounds...
The members were working and running around.
The concession stand was stocked abundantly with care....
In hopes that hungry people soon would be there.
The children were restless, not wanting to go to their beds......
As visions of fast times ran in their heads.
With all the members working hard, and Pa on his tractor.....
They are all busy checking every factor.
Mrs Vicki's smile, so inviting and warm....
Will be welcoming to all of those who sworm.
The cakes and cookies have all been baked....
And many hope there is one for them to take.
When what do our wondering eyes appear,....
But many horses in their finest gear.
The riders, they shouted and called them by name...
Now! Doc, ..Now! Jazzy.
Now! Hossfly and Hank.
On! Buck ...On! Boomer.
On! Lil' Bit and Breeze!
Around the arena they will run.....
And all will have so much fun.
From keeping their eyes on the flag,
To out back playing tag.
The riders are ready.
The horses are steady.
The crowd let's out a roar as the riders fly by.
The flags in the bucket! My oh my!
When at last the final ride has been run.
Boy oh boy, has it been fun!
Pa spoke not a word, but went straight to his work.
The arena was smoothed with all of its dirt.
Dusting off his clothes,
And giving a nod, onto the tractor he arose.
I heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight,
Man, what a day!!! And have good night!!!

To all of our hard working members and others that volunteer to help.

Vickie plans on playing this song as a tribute for 250 year celebration so we going have Bailey and Lydia to lead our club riders around arena to it and we getting all that can carry American Flag stagger through horses . Parade blue shirts those carrying flag and straw hats. We thought our new members that ride could ride among too . Let others know we recognize our members and kids. Song is 4 minutes. Be ready for song at 4:45 at back of arena.

***FAQs**

Rules are pinned at top of our page. Please take a moment to look them over. Most everything is covered in them.
But here are a few highlights:

Series dates:
Sept 12,19, 26 and
Oct. 3 & 10
Rain date(s) are typically the next Saturday(s)
after the last scheduled week.
(Oct 17, 24 etc. unless otherwise stated.)

*Sign up begins at 2
Lead ins run at 3
Age groups not before 5.
0-8
9-12
13-17
Ladies 18 n over
Men 18 n over
(age you are at the first run determines age group you run in)
Lead line has no age restriction, but cannot run in lead in and another age group.

*Entry fees per person per night (covers all 3 events):
* lead in $5
Age groups:
*Non member $15
*Crc current year members $12

*Neg. (Within last 12 months) Coggins test on all horses on grounds.

*No alcoholic beverage allowed on premises

**You MUST RIDE the SAME HORSE all night (unless injured during run). You may use a different horse each week.

** There will be NO exhibitions.
You are only allowed ONE ENTRY PER PERSON PER NIGHT **

*Each night stands alone. (Riders/horses/points)

*MUST RIDE 4 of the 5 nights to qualify for awards. (Can't just pay and not ride to qualify)
*5 buckles awarded in each age group.
*All qualified lead ins will receive a trophy.

*If you are on the grounds, please come sign up before 5. This helps with paperwork. However we do take late entries.

*We will run to a closed gate at back of ally.

*Please make every effort to be ready to run when it's your turn.

*Poles will be ran the 1st, 3rd and 5th weeks.
Quads will be ran on 2nd and 4th weeks.

*Awards potluck supper is typically the Tuesday after the fifth week.
