Sveinsson is heading to Shinnecock Hills GC for the 126th edition of U.S. Open Championship after a four-way playoff for the final three spots.

It's Official: Árni Sveinsson is heading to the U.S. Open after a four-way playoff! 👏
He becomes the first ever Icelander to qualify for the prestigious tournament with nine under in two rounds (67, 68).

The Tigers battled there way to the final 15 yesterday and will close the fourth round in 12th place, just four spots short of the cut for match play.
