I’ve been asked… a lot, how I can move on past the fact that at a young age my life, being a high school football player on the path to being all I can be… was met with the nightmare of injustice in the form of being wrongfully incarcerated. Well…There was a lot of growing up to do to say the least, critical thinking, faith, grit and hope. But most importantly, I didn’t lose the WILL TO LIVE. It required willpower, waking up everyday hating where I was, what I was being labeled as and the strife that was being casted upon my family… but still choosing to live the best life I could in spite of the circumstances. I learned a lot in the pain, I found purpose in the pain, I found out who I am and what I’m made of in the pain.
