That’s a wrap!

03/16/2026

I will put a contact list at the front desk of the gym, if you would like to be contacted by other members for training opportunities after the gym closes.
I am willing to train small groups after the gym closes, but that will have to be on my schedule. Pricing will be given when asked. PT’s will also be available for a limited time, and can be in-home, or at a pre-determined site.
Bags, kickshields, and tombstones are going quick. Also, all training guns and anatomical heads are available as well. Check with me for details…

To all BRKM members:
I have decided to close the gym, which will be effective April 25, 2026. All equipment will be sold off on a first come, first served basis, and all at a reduced price.
New paths have opened up for me and I can no longer put forth the time and effort all of o deserve, so I would rather shut the gym down, than not give you all of me, every day!

I want to thank all of you, who entrusted me with your training and fitness over the years and also thank you for being part of my life’s story. Each one of you who have ever shared a mat with me, or pushed me to be better at what I do, I want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

If you want my advice/opinion on gyms in our area to train, hit me up and I will give you my professional and personal opinion. I want to see all of you continue putting in the work and making yourself harder to hurt.

As always, train hard!

Jeff

It is with profound sadness we at Baton Rouge Krav Maga mourn the passing of Darren Levine.
Darren is the founder of Krav Maga Worldwide and the very first Krav Maga practitioner in the United States. All who have practiced and trained Krav Maga in the US are in his direct lineage and we owe our respect and gratitude for bringing such a wonderful art to the States.

Rest in Peace Darren

BRKM members, I am closing the gym tomorrow just as a precaution for the potential of dangerous driving conditions. I’m not a weatherman, nor do I claim to understand the heat transfer and evaporation potential of asphalt, concrete and other roadway surfaces, so I would rather miss a day of training out of concern for my members, versus volunteering to put you guys in harms way.

Of course, you all make your own decisions on travel, but one of those destitantions will not include Baton Rouge Krav Maga.

Stay warm and be safe!

Ok people, you have spoken and I am listening!
I have a lot of people who want some vids of what I teach at Baton Rouge Krav Maga and Fitness. Starting tomorrow, i will be posting.

Disclaimer: everything I teach has the potential to fail. If you are training somewhere and your instructor says, “all you have to do is this, or this works every time,” pack your gear and go train with real professionals.
Size matters
Strength matters
S*x matters
Training and experience matters…

I will
Be posting on all the normal social
Media outlets and you can also get them on TikTok Irish BJJ.

I look forward to hearing from all
Of you moving forward!
