National Travel & Tourism Week is the perfect time to celebrate the power of destination events and the partnerships that help bring them to life. The 15th Anniversary of the Louisiana Marathon generated an estimated $6.6 million in economic impact, welcoming runners and visitors from across the country and around the globe to experience Baton Rouge’s food, music, culture, and hospitality.

Adding to the excitement, the event was recently recognized with two major honors for 2026:
🏆 Best Marathon in Louisiana by Find My Marathon
🏆 Best Half Marathon in Louisiana by runners on Race Raves

These awards are a reflection of the incredible community behind this event—from our runners and volunteers to our sponsors, partners, and local supporters who help make race weekend such a special experience year after year.
