Congrats to Erin Gutierrez on her purple belt!!! This one was a special one because today we got to celebrate not only her promotion but also her birthday. Erin was one of our founding members and is such an important part of the gym and our family and over the last couple of years she's made an insane amount of effort and her skill definitely reflects that. vs Michael “The Bipolar Roller” Aubin (Baton Rouge Jiujitsu)

Donald Wilkinson makes his Groundworks Submission Fighting debut looking to make an immediate statement. Representing Fight School MMA, the purple belt brings a wealth of experience with seven MMA bouts, multiple superfights, and gold medal performances across several grappling tournaments. He also enters this matchup with a previous gi victory over his opponent, giving him the confidence that he’s done it before.

Standing across from him is one of GSF’s fan favorites, Michael “The Bipolar Roller” Aubin.

Representing Baton Rouge Jiu-Jitsu, Aubin returns with a 1-1 GSF record and plenty of momentum. At GSF 4, “The Bipolar Roller” delivered one of the night’s most impressive performances, securing a dominant victory by north-south choke and reminding everyone why he’s become a fan favorite every time he steps onto the GSF mats.

Wilkinson already owns a victory in the gi.

Aubin gets the opportunity to settle the score under the GSF ruleset.

Will Wilkinson prove history repeats itself, or will “The Bipolar Roller” earn redemption and continue his climb through the purple belt division?

🚨 PARENTS! Our 6-12 year old kids program begins tomorrow! Here is some important basic information for you to know:

✅ All of our kids classes will be No Gi for the time, so a tshirt and shorts will work if they don't already have a rashguard and grappling shorts.

✅ Be sure the kids have sandals/slides to easily go on and off the mats as well as a water bottle and a mouth guard ASAP.

✅ Currently classes are every Monday and Wednesday from 5:00-5:45 and we'll be adding more in the coming months.
