Where we all come from!!

Grandmaster Francisco Sá was another important non-Gracie line within jiujitsu. Learning not from Mitsuyo Maeda but rather from Japanese judoka Takeo Iano.

He established his academy, Central Ringue Club, in the north of Brazil in the 1960s, and became one of the most respected coaches in the country.

GM Sá passed away in 2013 at the age of 77. Today his sons Francisco "Sázinho", Guybson, and Robson Sá, along with his many students, carry on his legacy.
