We are incredibly proud of every Appling County Barracuda who qualified to compete at the GRPA State Swim Meet! Your hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship were on full display, and you represented Appling County with pride.
A special congratulations to our 1st–3rd Place State Finishers, who are listed below! Your accomplishments are a testament to the countless hours of practice and determination that brought you to the podium.
Whether you brought home a medal, achieved a personal best, or simply earned the opportunity to compete at the state level, every one of our swimmers is a champion in our eyes.

MULTI-AGENCY TRAINING EXERCISE NOTICE – LAKE MAYERS

If you see emergency vehicles or dive teams operating at Lake Mayers, there is no cause for concern.

Today, dive teams are conducting routine training exercises to strengthen their skills, practice coordinated response operations, and ensure they are prepared to respond when we need them most.

These exercises are an important part of maintaining readiness and allow responders to safely practice techniques in a realistic environment.

Please enjoy your day at the lake, but be respectful of boundaries set by teams and their instructors and stay clear of the dive area.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as our public safety partners continue training to better serve Appling County.

Looking for a meaningful way to give back to our community? Volunteer at the Mobile Food Pantry on Friday, July 24! This is a great opportunity to serve others alongside your athlete and make a positive impact in our community. Children under 18 are welcome to volunteer but MUST be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
