Striker Day 2 TOC Final Results!

Gull Lake got a little spicier as the anglers headed out for day 2 of our Tournament of Champions. The winds were blowing and the bags were growing!

1st Place of the TOC went to Team Silver Lining Jeremie Larson and Bruce Larson with a 32.43 # total over the 2 days! They took some some well earned prize money and two Swate Fishing rods to flex on the MN fisheries!

2nd Place and Waypoint Angler Supply Big Bass of not only the TOC, but of the YEAR went to Team Money Shots Jared Tidd and Jaxon Tidd weighing 32.25 # with a day two mega bag of 21.03 #. Twin 6 # Smallmouth Bass weighing 6.32 and 6.08 was an impressive finish! They won some Swate Fishing reels to continue catching bigs, as well as some Waypoint Angler Supply gift cards and trophies to commorate their great day on the water!

3rd Place and Team of the Year went to Last Cast Paul Hecht and Mark weighing in 30.98 # and accumulating enough points to take home our Anglers of the Year Trophy. Amazing consistency and great fishing gentlemen!

4th Place of the TOC weighing 29.11 # and taking home some Swate Fishing swimbaits was Fish Around and Find Out Dane Dornbush and Daniel Lindahl

A great weekend of fishing and memories made. Thank you to everyone that makes this event special. We could not do it without our amazing sponsors, friends of the tour, and everyone that shows up and fishes!

We look forward to the 2027 Minnesota Bass Tour Season as the planning has already begun ;-)

Striker TOC RECAP: DAY 1 HIGHLIGHTS!

The waters of Gull Lake was challenging the field as we fished Saturday. Strong winds building and changing conditions throughout the weekend put us to the test!

Day 1 Podium:

#1: Last Cast - Paul Hecht and Mark with 15.30
#2 Small Sacks and Big Dream - Darran Greene and Barry Chavarria with 13.84
#3 Big Bass Energy - Calvin Gronseth and Isaiah with 13.83

BIG BASS - Dan Krocak with a 5.38 Gull Lake Stud!

We are still collecting photos from the weekend to share and final results of the TOC and year to come shortly!

An enormous thank you to the Sandy Beach Resort for our accommodations for the week. Absolutely beautiful property and made us feel very comfortable and welcome!

It was a hot one on Forest Lake today! The extra sunscreen and fish care was worth it because we have some winners!

Congratulations to Calvin Gronseth and Isaiah for 1st place today with 17.91 # and second big bass of 4.64 # securing a sweet Swate Fishing rod!

Second place went to Mike Doughty and Tim Krebs with a healthy 17.30 # bag and took home some Striker $$$

Third place was caught by Deke Grigsy and walleye Chad with 16.13 #

Fourth place was secured by Paul Hecht and Mark with 15.99 # and loaded up on some Swate Fishing swim baits as a reward!

We couldn't forget our Big Bass winner Mike Goodell finding a 5.03 large mouth to earn the coveted Big Bass Belt! He's flush and has some spending money at Waypoint Angler Supply!

Congrats to all our anglers today and we look forward to seeing you in a few weeks on Clearwater! Tight lines

It was a hot and wavy fish on Lake Minnetonka for our 3rd stop on the 2026 Minnesota Bass Tour! Sun was out and so was everyone on a sticky Sunday in July!

Congratulations to team Last Cast Paul Hecht and Mark W for taking 1st place! 17.80 # and finding a 5.51 # largemouth for Big Bass!

Paul and Mark secured 2 custom rod builds on top of some cash from Scooter J Custom Rods & Tackle and we are excited to see what they design!

2nd Place went to Chad and Deke Grigsy of team Rocks and Docks with 16.05 # and took home some Striker gift certificates to look fabulous on the the water! Also found a 4.50 largemouth to secure 2nd Big Bass and a Swate Fishing fishing rod!

3rd Place was secured by Big Bass Energy Calvin Gronseth and his buddy Isaiah locking in 15.98 # of bass. A 4.41 Bass broke the tie as

4th place went to Flipping and Lipping Mike Doughty and Sam Blundell catching a 15.98 # bag.

Great job to all and only 2 stops left on the tour before our Tournament of Champions!

What a day on Lake Koronis for stop #2 of the 2026 Minnesota Bass Tour Season! A little breezy but that did not stop the catching!

Congratulations to Jared Simons and Alex Norbury of team Brokeback Bass for taking the W with 18.97lbs of green and brown bass! They won some serious prizes including gift certificates to JoeyClean-Premium Auto Detailing Service. This will be their second win for a lake sponsored by JoeyClean-Premium Auto Detailing Service! They must like a clean tow rig ;-)

Second place honors went to Paul Hecht and Mark W of Last Cast with 18.15lbs

Third place was held down by Dane Dornbush and Daniel Lindahl of Fish Around & Find Out with 18.10lbs

Fourth place and some Swate Fishing tackle went to Mike Doughty and Sam Blundell of Flippin and Lippin

Waypoint Angler Supply Big Bass of the day was caught by Samuel Coler with a 4.97lb smallmouth
