sfully placed first in most of the swimming/open water events. Bryan competed in the Cape May, National Lifeguard Competition placing in the top ten in the long distance open water swim and first in the line pull. Placed first in the Cross Bay 5.2 mile Swim four times. Competed on the Triathlon circuit for many years and 99% of the time had the fastest swim time. In 2002 competed in an Olympic Long Distance Swim Across the Sound from Port Jeff, L.I. to Conn. -- 17 nautical miles, and was the only United States swimmer, finishing 11th out of 37 swimmers. Coach Bryan started Open Water Swim in 2009 to train swimmers to achieve their highest possible goal. He his currently training Triathletes, Ironmen, Cross-Bay Swimmers and all long-distance swimmers from 1 mile to 30 mile races.
