Today, my sweet Khalid turns 13.
From the moment you entered this world, you’ve been calm, thoughtful, and full of quiet strength.
Watching you grow into a young leader — confident, kind, and true to yourself — has been one of the greatest joys of my life.
You are driven, wise beyond your years, and your heart is pure gold.
I pray the world gives back to you all the goodness you so naturally give to others.
Though I’m missing you deeply today, my heart is right there with you.
I can’t wait to celebrate with you this weekend!
Thank God for Dad making today extra special while Mommy’s away for work.

When a tree is planted and it’s roots are firm: it knows it’s capabilities, capacity, and greatness.

🌱 It doesn’t ask neighboring seeds if it can take up space. The roots understand that it can exist with other components of nature without overstepping its boundaries.

🌱The tree also instinctively transforms to adapt to the different seasons and conditions.

🌱If something blocks its path for growth and maturation it simply finds another route. It doesn’t quit or die off yet it adapts.

🌱We are so much like trees. We are essentially compromised of water and genetic 🧬 materials (roots). INSTINCTIVELY (when we release our Ego) we know how to be guided from within. We know what we need survive, adapt, and grow.

🌱Knowing & Choosing are 2 different things. In order to be connected to your roots: you have to know and understand who you are, why you’re here, and how to achieve your life’s mission. You have to AFFIRM what you need and stop waiting for others to tell you when to grow or take a leap. No one can validate YOU but you.

As you journey through this year I want you to be more TRUSTING of yourself, your needs, and capabilities.
What you don’t know I want you to pray for and remain consistent.

What you’re fearful of I want you to try to overcome in small doses.

What you’re capable of I want you to challenge yourself to go further.

What your hurt from I want you to release.

Become as light as a feather with no regrets and only lessons. Watch how fast life brings you all that you need to keep yourself balanced and in peace.

National Daughtets Day: Journey 🐝 is my favorite girl in the entire world! If you see me you know she’s attached at my hip😂. Every part of her allows the little “ebony” in me to heal each day. I love that we get to JOURNEY this life together forever.

36 trips around the sun! Embracing spiritual duality, balance, wellness, and prosperity into this chapter! I am grateful for the tides of life, knowing that God’s guidance is always present.
