UPDATE: The course is now open! Congratulations to Lee County’s boys team for winning their race!

The course is closed today for play until all races have concluded and all runners are off the course. We anticipate this to be around 1:30 PM but will post when we are open. Thank you.

Great first day of the Citizens Bank and Trust Invitational. A little rain didn’t get in the way. The 34 golfers enjoyed an 18 hole round followed by food, provided by Earl Gabbard. Closest to Pin prizes were won by Jay Combs, Anthony Perdue, and Oscar Moore. Skins were won by Anthony Perdue, Oscar Moore, Joe Scott, and Zach Watterson, who shot a 59 to lead the championship flight. There will be four flights of competition tomorrow.

The Beattyville Country Club mourns the tragic loss of local golfer and friend Dustin Carpenter. Carp was always a joy to be with, and will be missed by the entire community. Please pray for his family.
