As we wrap up an incredible week at DanceMakers Nationals — Myrtle Beach, my heart is overflowing with gratitude.

This week was about so much more than trophies, placements and awards. It was about watching our dancers grow, support one another, step outside of their comfort zones and represent our studio with pride, kindness and determination.

I am beyond proud to say that our dancers walked away with FIRST PLACE for every dance, a style high runner up, 2 judges picks and Ishmael walking out with a 2 time regional scholarship. What an incredible accomplishment! But what makes me the proudest isn't the hardware they brought home—it's the character they showed every step of the way.

Nationals is never easy. Long days, early mornings, late nights, nerves, exhaustion, schedule changes and unexpected obstacles are all part of the journey. We certainly had our challenges this week, but every time we faced one, these dancers rose above it. They adapted, encouraged one another, stayed positive and kept pushing forward.

Perseverance always prospers.

Congratulations to every dancer who took that stage this week. The awards are wonderful, but the lessons learned, friendships strengthened and memories made are the true victories.

Nationals 2026, you were unforgettable. ♥️
