🚨 DRONE BAIT DROP REGULATION – UPDATE 🚨

We’ve received additional information regarding the drone bait-drop regulation and wanted to provide a clear update, as many of you have reached out asking where things currently stand.

At this time, progress is temporarily stalled while we wait on return calls and written responses to the letters that have already been sent. While this is frustrating, we were explicitly advised TODAY to continue submitting letters expressing concerns, impacts, and requested changes.

📌 Important clarification:
This is a regulation issue, not a law passed by Congress. That means the verbiage CAN be updated to protect drone usage specifically for bait dropping without going through Congress.

📌 Who has the authority to change this regulation:
The regulation ultimately falls under the authority of the Director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

• Disabled anglers
• Shore-based fishermen
• Families and recreational anglers
• Small, locally owned businesses

Polite, factual, and consistent communication is how change happens at this stage.
