Last night at Thursday Night Chess in the Food Court at Parkdale Mall in Beaumont. We had excellent turnout and good competition.

The Beaumont Chess Club (BCC) is thrilled to announce the BCC Fall 2024 Southeast Texas Open USCF-rated chess tournament!

🗓 Date: Saturday, September 7, 2024
📍 Venue: Kroger Conference Room, Dowlen Rd location (tentative)
⏰ Format: 4-Round Swiss System with G/45
🔢 Section: One open section

💰 Registration Details:

Early Bird Registration: $10 (ends August 17)
Normal Registration: $15 (until the day of the tournament)
Day of Tournament Registration: $20 (closes at 9:30 am on September 7th)
🏆 Prizes:

1st Place: $50
2nd Place: $25
3rd Place: $15
📝 How to Register:

Register in person.
We are currently accepting cash only, so be prepared.
A current USCF membership number is required for registration.
