While Packing Up & Walking Out the Door to Head North to Richardson for a NCS State Tournament, News Came it Was Pouring 🌧️🌧️ and the Fields Flooded! Just Like That, Tournament Cancelled! 🚫 Scrambling to Look for a Back Up Plan, as We’ve Already Been Off for 2 Weeks, Mike Gorgas was Able to Squeeze Us into His 3MT ‘6-7’ Summer Bash! We Hit the Road to Clifton Saturday with a Late Schedule. Won the First Pool Game 9-3 and then Got Up 6-0 in the 2nd Pool Game When… Yup, Lightning! ⚡️⚡️ Delay After Delay, Around 8pm The Games Were Called for the Night with 2 Pool Games Still Scheduled 😟😓
Now We’re Scheduled to Restart At 8am! 🤯
Showed Up 7am to Warm Up, and thenTook 2 Hard Losses on Those Other Pool Games (Girls Were Still Asleep😴💤) 🥺
Now We’re onto Double Elimination Bracket Play..
Out First 2 Bracket Games Coincidently Lined Up Against the 2 Teams We Lost to Earlier the Morning, but You Guessed It, We Got Our Licks Back 😎. Semi Finals Game Up and We Took a Respective Win Against One of Our Good Sister Bomber Teams. Now it’s Championship Game Loading.. 8pm at Night! But that’s What We’re Built For! Fight til the End! & Took the Championship in Fashion. 🏆🥇
These Athletes Beat All Odds From the Weather, Storms, Lightning, High Winds, Extreme Heat & Never Gave Up. 14 hours in the Field on a Sunday!They Just Wanted to Ball! 🥎🥎 This Was Well Earned! Give It Up for Our 2k14 Bombers! This is Still Just Year 1 🤫 with Plenty More to See!

💣🥎 CHAMPIONS OF THE NCS 5th Annual Schools Out Bash 🥎💣

The Bombers CTX brought the ENERGY to Bertram this weekend and came home with the 🏆 in the Gold 💛 Bracket!!!

These girls showed up locked in during bracket play — putting up 15 runs while only allowing 5 all day. The bats were HOT 🔥, pitching was absolutely on point, and the defense held it DOWN with multiple double plays, smart situational softball, and next-level softball IQ all weekend long.

So proud of the grit, teamwork, and composure this squad showed from first pitch to the final out. These girls continues to grow stronger every tournament, and it’s so much fun watching them compete, battle, and play for each other. 💚🩷🤍

A HUGE thank you to our Bombers softball sisters Texas Bombers CTX 2k14 who stepped in and helped us out this weekend while we battled injuries and the holiday schedule. We loved having you with us and appreciate the support more than you know! 💪🥎

Most importantly — these girls had FUN, played hard, and did what they love. That’s what it’s all about.

Then Day 2 Comes and Anayah Hits ANOTHER Bomb 💣 Over the Fence Earning Another Ring. The Host Said that’s Her First Time Being able to Ring Someone for Hitting it Out of Park in that Complex 😮‍💨
