What starts as hockey often turns into so much more. ❤️
Teammates become best friends. Hotel hallways become core memories. Weekend tournaments turn into the stories they’ll tell for years.
These girls show up for each other on and off the ice and that’s what makes Wildfire special. 🔥
If your daughter is looking for a place to grow, belong and build lifelong friendships, there’s a spot for her here.

Behind every great player is a hockey mom who’s been freezing in the stands since 7am. Happy Mother’s Day! 🏒

Need some good reasons to get your little girl into hockey?
The hard truth first. The end goal isn't always going pro. The chances of your daughter going to the PWHL are 0.1%. But whether she makes it or not, her sports experience will propel her in so many ways.
1. If she stays in sports, the chances of her sitting in a leadership position as an adult increases by 70%.
2. 94% of female executives played sports growing up. She is not just learning to score. She is learning how to compete in rooms that will try to tell her she does not belong.
3. Female athletes have significantly lower rates of depression and anxiety than girls who do not play sports. The mental health crisis among teenage girls is real. Sports is one of the few places still protecting her from it.
4. Girls who play sports and engage in regular physical activity during adolescence and young adulthood have a significantly lower risk of developing breast cancer later in life, with some studies suggesting a reduction of up to 20% to 60%.
5. Girls who play sports through high school are more likely to graduate from university, earn higher incomes, and report higher levels of self-confidence and self-worth as adults.
6. Opportunities like refereeing, student coaching, mentoring and more will go on her resume showing early initiative to be a leader.
7. She will build strengths in stretegic thinking, rapid decision-making, and emotional regulation, and apply it to the workplace, family life and more.
Every tournament. Every early morning practice. Every hard season. It is all building something she will carry for the rest of her life. The scholarship would be amazing. The PWHL would be incredible. But the girl that she becomes along the way, that’s the whole point.
Make sure she has the right suit of armor to be great!
