I have a debate for ya’ll. Is flattrack more dangerous than moto or off-road?

Here is my answer, I think it has become more dangerous because the bikes work so good and are so fast which bring more speed and when it goes bad you can’t stop momentum.

Should flattrack just be small tracks? Where it’s all about the rider or do we care more about the money we can throw into a machine and see how fast it goes on a mile? Idk you tell me.

For my experience riding all three disciplines I think in off-road them trees keep you in check, moto them big doubles and triples keep you in check. Flattrack what keeps you in check? You have a flat track and it can be pretty easy to lose the respect of the machine and be to aggressive.

I love flattrack but is it worth the risk as a parent to try and get your kids real competitive in flattrack or do you put your energy in to moto where you can make a real good living? Flattrack you can make money but only the top don’t have to go to a 9-5. Moto you can make some money just doing pro am arena cross.if your one of the 0.01% fast enough to catch a ride with the big dogs then you are set. Which is damn near impossible but it definitely won’t happen if you don’t try. That I do know.

Dang I miss that bike, wish that class would have stayed competitive with a bunch of riders! At least I was able to catch the tail end and win a championship. Was and awesome experience that’s for sure! 🏁🏁🏁

💥Aztalan Cycle Club 7/18:
Both kids went into the night was some serious determination. Alayna rode the Honda 50, pumped up and placing 3rd in her heat. Unfortunately before Alayna’s main there was a slight medical delay, by the time she hit the the track she was ready for bed - but she fought her tired butt off and battled hard to the end, placing 4th in her main.
Kyler was particularly ready to get after it, the track was great so everyone was fast. Kyler had the main focus of just getting faster, he’s really enjoying the open youth class competing with the 85s really gives him some drive he placed mid pack (I believe 6th?). 🤘🏁

💥Sunday we stayed to ride and Kyler rode the moto track for the first time and he is loving it! So much that we’ll be attending our first moto race next month - August 9th at Azzie!! 🏁🏁
