⚾️ SUPPORT A WEST MAYFIELD ALL-STAR!

This summer, three West Mayfield Baseball All-Star teams will represent our community in tournament play throughout the region. These players have worked hard for the opportunity to wear the West Mayfield uniform and compete against some of the area’s best teams.

We’re looking for local businesses, organizations, and community supporters willing to sponsor an All-Star athlete for the 2026 season.

For a sponsorship of $100 or more, your business will receive:

⚾️ A personalized sponsor banner displayed at the West Mayfield Baseball complex throughout the All-Star season like the example posted below!

⚾️ Recognition for supporting local youth athletics

⚾️ The opportunity to help create lasting memories for a young athlete representing our community

Sponsorship funds help offset tournament fees, uniforms, and other All-Star expenses.

⚾ West Mayfield Baseball Player Feature: Cooper “Coop” Wilcox #27 ⚾

Meet Cooper “Coop” Wilcox, #27 for our Farm League Portage Learning team! Coop has been playing baseball for two years and can be found holding down the hot corner at third base or chasing down fly balls in the outfield. When he steps up to the plate, his walk-up song of choice is “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma!”

When he’s not on the baseball field, Coop stays busy with football, Cub Scouts, building LEGO creations, and playing video games. A big fan of the Buffalo Bills, Toronto Blue Jays, and Josh Allen, he’s fueled by pretzels with peanut butter and mint chocolate chip ice cream!

Coop dreams of becoming a baseball player someday and loves the friendships he’s made through the game. One of his favorite baseball memories is going to Pirates games with his dad and Bop. He knows his biggest fans are Mom and Dad because they love him and never miss a game. His goal this season is simple: win games! And when it comes to being a great teammate, Coop believes the most important thing is giving encouragement.

Today’s player spotlight is on #36, Lennox Laster!

Lennox plays second base and center field and is already making big plays in just his first year of baseball ⚾🔥

His walk-up song choice is “BAD” by Michael Jackson 🎵 and before every game he makes sure not to step on the third base line — gotta keep the good luck rolling! 🍀

Outside of baseball, Lennox stays busy with football, basketball, soccer, wrestling, video games, and hanging out with friends. He’s also a huge Steelers fan 🖤💛

One of Lennox’s favorite baseball memories was getting his very first hit — and turning it into a TRIPLE! 💨⚾ He says what he loves most about baseball is simply “the game and my friends.”

Lennox says his mom is his biggest fan because she cheers him on no matter what ❤️ This season, his goal is to hit an outside-the-park home run! 💣

We also love Lennox’s answer about what it means to be a great teammate: “Cheering on my whole team and lifting someone up when they are down.” 👏⚾

Today we’re featuring #2, Beck “Hei-Hei” Bitcko!

Beck plays second base and shortstop for our Farm League Portage Learning team and has been playing baseball for four years ⚾🔥

His walk-up song choice is “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma” by Luke Combs 🎵 and before games, Beck keeps it simple — his superstition is PRACTICE 💪

Outside of baseball, Beck loves playing outside with his neighbors, playing video games, and spending time with his sister and dog, Xena 🐶 He’s also a big Michigan Wolverines fan… 💙💛

One of Beck’s favorite baseball memories was getting to first base for the very first time ❤️ He says what he loves most about baseball is being able to hit the ball far!

Beck’s biggest fan is his mom, and this season his goal is to hit a triple ⚾💨

We love Beck’s team-first attitude and his belief that the most important part of being a teammate is “supporting my whole team.”

Say hello to #2, Cooper “Coop” Duble!

Coop plays center field, first base, and pitcher for our Minor League Hot Dog Shoppe team. He’s been playing baseball for five years and says his favorite part of the game is being with his friends and teammates ⚾❤️

His walk-up song choice definitely brings the energy — “Enter Sandman” by Metallica 🎵🔥 And before every game, Coop gets locked in by listening to Metallica!

Outside of baseball, he enjoys drawing, soccer, basketball, and collecting Pokémon cards. He also looks up to some all-time greats like Cristiano Ronaldo, Babe Ruth, and Michael Jordan 🐐

One of his favorite baseball memories was hitting a triple in the last fall game, and this season his goal is to keep getting better and help his team however he can 💪

Coop says his biggest fans are Mom and Dad, who are always cheering him on from the stands ❤️

Awesome job, Coop! Keep working hard and having fun out there! ⚾

Cole is a player for our Farm League Portage Learning team and is ready to play ANYWHERE the team needs him! 💪⚾ He’s been playing baseball for four years and says his favorite part of the game is being with his teammates.

His walk-up song choice definitely brings the energy — “Enter Sandman” by Metallica 🔥🎵

When he’s not on the baseball field, Cole enjoys wrestling and flag football, and he’s a fan of the Pirates and baseball legend Babe Ruth. Before games, he powers up with energy bars and celebrates with chocolate ice cream afterward 🍫🍦

Cole says his mom is his biggest fan because “she screams loud for me” ❤️😂

His dream job is to become a scientist, and this season his goal is to hit a home run! 💣⚾

Today’s spotlight is on #10, Brayden Gibbons!

Brayden plays third base and left center for our Minor League Hot Dog Shoppe team and has been playing baseball for six years ⚾🔥

He loves hitting and running the bases, and one of his favorite baseball memories was getting the game ball after a big performance 💪🏆

When Brayden steps up to the plate, his walk-up song would be “Black Beatles” 🎵 Outside of baseball, he enjoys football, flag football, and swimming, and he’s a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan 🖤💛

Brayden says his biggest fan is his Pap ❤️ and this season his goals are to catch every ball hit his way AND smash a home run! 💣⚾

One thing Brayden believes makes a great teammate? “Cheering on others!” — and we love that attitude!

Today we’re featuring #30, Cohen “Coco” Weber!

Coco plays for our Farm League Portage Learning team and is ready to jump in wherever the team needs him — he says he plays ALL positions! 💪⚾

He’s been playing baseball for three years and loves being on the field with his friends. One of his favorite baseball memories was winning the championship last season 🏆🔥

Outside of baseball, Coco enjoys football, basketball, and ice skating, and he’s a big fan of Paul Skenes. His walk-up song choice? “Big Poppa” 🎵

When it’s game time, you’ll probably find him fueled by gummy bears and dreaming about cookie dough ice cream afterward 🍦😂

Coco says his parents are his biggest fans because they’re always cheering him on from the stands ❤️ This season, his goal is to grow more confident in the field — and we know he’s going to do great things!
