BCAHL Adult Learn to Play Hockey is back!

Have you ever wanted to play hockey but never had the opportunity to learn? Maybe you played years ago and want to get back on the ice. Or maybe you've been watching from the stands and think it's finally time to give hockey a try.

This program is for you.

The BCAHL Adult Learn to Play program is designed for adults of all experience levels. Over five weeks, we'll work on the fundamentals of hockey, including skating, stickhandling, passing, shooting, positioning and game play.

No previous hockey experience is required.

Program Details:

5 weeks
Saturday nights
Approximately 10:45 PM start time, following public skate
Brady's Run Ice Arena
$170 per player

BCAHL D & E League Season Starts Next Week

The wait is over. The Beaver County Adult Hockey League D and E Leagues are back on the ice for the 2026-27 season!

Week 1 gets underway Tuesday, September 8, with four games on the schedule:

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from the Beaver County Adult Hockey League! 🇺🇸

Today, we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy, the friendships we’ve built, and the incredible hockey community that makes our league so special.

We hope all of our players and officials have a safe, fun, and memorable Independence Day filled with friends and fireworks.

As we celebrate today, we’re also looking ahead to an exciting fall season! We can’t wait to share more details about new programs, league sessions, and opportunities to get back on the ice together. Stay tuned. There are some great things in the works!

Thank you to all the brave men and women, past and present, who have served our country and helped protect our freedom.

That’s a wrap on our adult league season.

While this is not how any of us hoped the season would end, we want to sincerely thank the rink staff for their constant communication, transparency, and efforts throughout this unexpected situation. We know everything possible was done to try to keep things going, and we truly appreciate everything they did!

A special congratulations goes out to our D League teams that earned their spot in the championship finals before the season was cut short:

🏒 Lower D Finalists: Blue Lagoons and Ice Dragons

Congratulations on great seasons and earning your place in the finals.

Thank you as well to all of our players, captains, and teams for your patience, flexibility, and support throughout the season. The growth of adult hockey in our area continues because of this community.

We are already looking ahead to next season, and there is a lot to be excited about, including:

• More league games
• Another Learn to Play program
• More Draft Leagues
• New opportunities and events
• Much more to come

Enjoy the summer, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on the ice next season. The future of adult league hockey is bright, and we are just getting started.

Spots are limited to the first 30 skaters, so register early as this will fill quickly. Players who sign up after the first 30 will be placed on a waitlist and may be added later to complete team rosters if needed.

The cost is $95for skaters and includes four Thursday night games, a referee for each game, and a BCAHL jersey customized with your name and number. Two goalie spots are available at a reduced rate.

This is our first time running a draft-style session like this. The success of this session will help determine future opportunities for similar formats at both the E and D league levels.

How it works:

Players select their skill level during registration

Teams are balanced and split into Navy and White after registration closes on April 3

Teams announced the week of April 20

Jerseys available at the first game on April 23
