I help people learn that they are not as limited as they may believe.

My unique gift is a clear vision and a true passion for the practice. I have found myself a true home during my time on the mat - a home that I take with me as I go about other parts of my day.

I have found that I can be and teach in my own voice, with humor and fun, but with reverence and honor of tradition at the same time. I bring students into the room, onto the mat, and into themselves.

I am excited when I see the spark of the yoga—the learning, the growing, the changing in students. I can see and understand their understanding and frustration as they move forward through the journey of yoga. It becomes a catalyst, a crucible, to create meaningful and long-lasting change in a person.

I love to see it every time.

This transforming is what I love to support in my students and what I want to share to bring in new students. I am passionate to help them learn that they aren’t as limited as they may believe. That they aren’t weak, or stiff, or limited in belief, or unable to take up space.

They should take up space. Speak out. Feel confident and feel strong in body and mind.

I have faced this for years.
I have faked this for years.

Confidence, strength, and attitude. Now, as an older, more mature person, I have truly found it. I’ve been working toward this my entire life—to feel this.

It is worth it.

All that sweat, all those hours of planning, and now it’s time.

Dearest Yogi's,

I hate goodbyes....

So I've decided this isn't a goodbye email, it's just a "See ya' later!"

I have had the honor and privilege of serving the Beaver community for almost 17 years. Teaching the practice I love and sharing the ancient wisdom of yoga with you has been a true passion and joy in my life.

I'm not done teaching, but it will look slightly different. You'll be hearing from me soon on the next steps of my transformation. Please allow at least a couple weeks for the update as I'm taking some time to decompress and rest.

On the bright side - AMY and NOVA HOUSE🐘 will be an amazing place to keep your practice going! I can't be happier that she has decided to serve the community in this way. She will be a force for good work and strong yoga for a long time to come.
